Truly, my favorite Chicago restaurant! Love the food, ambiance and the service. Everything is super tasty. Go during happy hour and get some sangria. It is so good and only 6.00!!
My favorite plates are short ribs, garlic shrimp and the potatoes. The deserts are also really good. You simply can't go wrong with this restaurant. Excellent service. I can't wait to go back.
I will have to remember to photograph the food! I eat it as soon as it arrives!!
Service was incredible. Happy hour specials helped us to enjoy even more dishes. Seriously, the happy hour specials help you try items for $1 or $2 each. Drinks are 50%, too. Everything was fresh and prepared to order. Incredible flavors. Loved the atmosphere as well. Big thanks to Madeline for the wonderful service!
We were here for New Years Eve and had a great server and the atmosphere was on point. Our server, Slam, was very welcoming and enthusiastic. He knew the menu very well and we trusted him to pick things out for us. The food was EXCEPTIONAL. Sangria was AMAZING. Everything came out in a decent amount of time. When it came to dessert, our server picked an amazing drink to complement the chocolate cake. The chef, staff, everyone was great! Definitely recommend!
Was on my list of places to try out, have always visited Emilios for Tapas in the past. We stayed a block away this trip and had the opportunity to check them out. Atmosphere was great, modern and intimate, great vibe. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was great, the shrimp, meatballs, goat cheese were awesome. Highly recommend a stop here.
The food and atmosphere is great at this Spanish tapas restaurant. Unfortunately, the service isn't up to par. While they greeted us when we were seated, it took some time to place our order. One of our dishes was incorrect, so we sent it back. It took an unusually long time to get another one. So much so, my husband had to go find our server. When we were ready to leave, my husband again had to flag down our server after waiting a substantial amount of time. She never once apologized for the food error, how long it took to get the replacement dish or for taking so long with the check. We won't be going back which is a shame.
Perfect for a summer happy hour! Highly recommend the White Peach Sangria, the $1 and $2 tapas on the happy hour menu, and a table on the patio. Staff have always been friendly and accommodating. Tip: the patatas fritas are potato chips in a single serving bag, so I would definitely recommend other food options.
My friends and I had an amazing time. The outdoor seating was excellent. Well lit and spacious enough. Drinks were amazing. We ordered several dishes and everything tasted great. I especially liked the brussel sprouts salad and the potato/onion tortilla. Our waitress was super friendly and made sure we had a nice time.
Lil ba-ba-Reeba is good, but I think their dishes are hit or miss. Some are delicious, like the chorizo wrapped dates, octopus, deviled eggs, ham croquetas and basque cheesecake. And then others are definitely overpriced and not that good, like the striped bass and hanger steak - they’re very small since it’s tapas but also the fish was not seasoned well and the sauce that came with it wasn’t flavorful, the steak was a bit better but still not worth it compared to the other options on the menu.
I would stick with the more unique dishes and not order the ones that are just a meat or fish. The sangria is very tasty and they have multiple options which is nice. Sangria is only $5 for happy hour too! Overall a pretty good spot.
